"The BBC Wet Itself"

9 comments:

  1. So, the 4 to 6 degree rise over 100 years is based on two years of emissions. This is climate science? Or just BBC journalism. I guess the BBC needs something to talk about other than child molesters. Substitute a real horror with a make-believe one.

  2. Why are those camels wearing nose cones? Does it aid aerodynamics?

It is not only the BBC which developed bladder problems, ABC and SBS also breathlessly announced the projected 4 to 6 degrees celsius temperature increase as lead items in their evening news broadcasts. So to did Fairfax's resident alarmist Cubby, but that was to be expected.

  3. Can a Lord be knighted?

Christopher Lord Monkton of Benchley deserves some recognition for the sterling work he is doing exposing these scam artists and gullible twits.

    1. Yes, peers may be knighted; for example, both Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Arthur Wellesley, 8th Duke of Wellington, are Knights of the Garter.

    2. I have to say he seems awfully pleased with himself...give me someone down to earth like James Delingpole instead

Lord M makes a great Lawrence of Arabia.

Lovely modulated tones and talking sense, ready to lead the climate counter-charge yet again.

plus safer on a Camel than a motor-bike.

today is much warmer than yesterday so I'm thinking I can weld steel with plain sunlight by the middle of next week.
The ABC will probably run with that.

Ps. Don't listen all that much but I happened to catch the last or second last day of Parliament, the Senate, on NewsRadio while out driving. Heard Christine Milne's speech which included the words "terrifying" news from Doha. What got me was her saying "there's no such thing as average years anymore" - I think that's a word for word quote. It will be in Hansard if any Journo could stand to do a bit of reporting for a change.

She wasn't saying she expects an increase in standard deviations - she was saying "no such thing as average"!

Give that woman a Nobel Prize for Mathematics. This changes the entire nature of reality. Give her a Chair at the Royal Society. Newton roll over.

PPs She controls the "balance" in power!

  5. Andrew Bolt points out today:

    a) Record high for November last week of 46c in a Victorian town - media all over it.

    B) Record December low in Canberra this week of 0.3c - nary a mention.

    Strange.
