Notice Given

When this blog took a brief break last week, several commenters observed that it would have been good manners to announce as much. They had a point, so in order to avoid giving further offence, please take note that there will be no posts until tonight at the earliest. The Billabong is infested with tradies who expect to be turning off and on the electricity supply throughout the afternoon.

Apologies. Back later.

  1. In view of your status as an essential service your break in transmission is irresponsible and regrettable.

  3. LOL we really gave you a hard time, Professor. A day's absence here and there is not an issue. When you disappeared for about a week or so...well that caused some concern.

  4. Professor, you told us of your computer woes, sought our advice and warned you would be out for a while. Surely that is enough advice for anyone

  5. While I enjoy a daily dose of the Bunyip, it's churlish to criticise the good B. for having other things to do.

You are officially absent, Sir. Definitely not AWOL. Enjoy your leave. Thank you for your thoughtful concern for us foot-soldiers here and I hope those tradies wreck the right sort of havoc and then clean up afterwards.

  7. Perhaps you should equip your billabong with solar panels and a wind generated power supply so that you may continue doing whatever bunyips do when their mains power isn't available.

Don't say that. Next thing the Billabong will get government funding...
